--------------------------------------
Name: Ruhalya Dre'amil
Nickname: Ruh, Aliya
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4 feet
Race: Byyst Hybrid (50% deer, 50% human)
Tribe: Ziskor
Ancestry: Unknown (Adopted as an infant)

Personality: Happy-go-lucky || Curious || Eager || Intelligent || Fair || Klutz || Childish || Tactless || Workaholic || Secretive

Ruhalya is what many would describe as an easily excitable woman; it doesn't take much to amuse her and she looks at things with a child-like curiosity. She is cheery most of the time, it's rarely she ever seems down and when she is, it's most likely because she's stumped with her work. Because of her happy-go-lucky demeanor, meeting new people is never a problem for her. Even when the individual she is interacting with is a complete grouch she would still talk to them with stride. In fact Ruhalya's eager personality can be a double edged sword sometimes because she is talkative. Very talkative. It's either she'll bombard you with what she's studying at the moment or she will tell you about an odd story she heard in town; anything under the sun really and most of the time she jumps from one topic to another so the talks can turn a 180 degree turn in a span of 2 seconds.

And while she is intelligent, the young woman can be too curious for her own good-- even sometimes to a stupid degree (e.g.: she finds a new plant specimen, she will not hesitate to put it in her mouth to check if it's poisonous or not) And because of her passion in her work, Ruhalya can be a workaholic, going days without food, not sleeping or leaving her place a complete mess, if she is so immersed in her research sometimes the tribe folks won't see her for days. She can also be a bit of a ditz when all she thinks about is work, so knocking a mountain of books is nothing new on her part. For the most part it's very hard to anger Ruhalya, but when she does get angry, the short Byyst can be terrifying (the last person who ticked her off almost got dissected) being a woman of knowledge, she is very open-minded but she's tactless when she speaks the truth, some may mistake it as mockery or sarcasm since she says everything with a smile- but she is sincere, rest assured. She looks at everyone equally, so it doesn't matter much to her if you are from the slum or an authorities figure, she will treat you like her normal-self. While normally open, she can be secretive about some things in her life and she will not hesitate to lie to protect them. Over all, Ruhalya is a friendly woman, a bit too eccentric sometimes, but kind nonetheless.

Occupation: Researcher (mostly about the origins of this world, she's trying to figure out which one is scientific and mythical. But she also
studies plants and collects bugs)

Companion: -None at the Moment, will add later-

Story: Each time Ruhalya tells anyone of her past, people were always surprised to find out that she never knew her Ancestry; her origin and roots.
'What is she, an uncultured fool? An ungrateful girl who doesn't pay respects to her ancestors?' were the thoughts of many.

And each time the young woman would just smile and simply say, "It's not all too surprising seeing as I'm adopted."

Orphaned children were nothing new even in the tribes of Yoryyn, but while some lost their parents because of death, others were abandoned on the streets or shrines. Maybe the parents were poor and could not care for them? Or maybe these kids were merely accidents and were unwanted. For Ruhalya, she would never know the reason for she was abandoned in the deep forest east of Ziskor when she was but a day old. With wild creatures lurking in that area, it was a surprise she wasn't eaten in the first hours. As night time fell she was miraculously found by a young couple, Ishka (human woman) and Natshu (100% Serval Byyst), who were on there way back to Ziskor after collecting plant-samples. At spotting her they were shocked, who would leave an infant in the middle of a forest? Sure enough the two decided to bring her back to their home and, eventually, adopted her as their own. Ishka and Natshu, despite being kind people, could not conceive their own children, so stumbling upon this lost infant was like a god-sent to them. They named her Ruhalya, since they found her in spring time.

In her new home, there also stayed the father of Ishka, Mor, a human scholar. Mor looked like a stern old man, a scowl was always on his face and he spoke in a gruff tone, but while he is strict, he was also very caring (in his own way). He had no problem accepting Ruhalya, in fact he was delighted since he finally had a grandchild (though on lookers would say otherwise, what with his eternal frown)

Growing up, Ruhalya was a happy child, hyper active even. Being raised in an accepting family she had little problem coping into her own self, despite the other kid's chides on why she had deer parts when her father was a Serval. "I don't see why that matters, papa and mama love me just the way I am now." she would tell them. Now both Ishka and Mor were both researchers in their own sense, and passionate ones at that. Mor was a man of medicine and plants while Ishka had always been interested in the origins of this world; how the different species came to be and why- she was always so intent in understanding these things. Both of them rubbed off on Ruhalya at a terribly young age (much to Natshu's demise) and that triggered her thirst for knowledge. She would read book after book after book, stuck to her mother like glue when she was doing an experiment and always asked questions.

Ishka and Natshu often travelled outside of Ziskor since Natshu was a tradesman, and his wife tagged along for her research. When a young Ruhalya would persistently ask to go with them her mother would smile, "Once you're older, okay my dear Ruh?" Though Ruhalya would often make a huge fuss over it, she would eventually let it go, only to pester them again once they planned another trip.

At 16, on an early morning wherein her parents were set to depart for Alishiani both parents told her with glee that on their next trip, they were finally bringing her with them. "You're old enough now anyway, plus if you really want to see an Unat so badly, now's the chance." Natshu told her cheekily. With excited cheers she waved her parents off mirthfully, awaiting their safe return.

They never returned.

Days turned into week, weeks into months; there was no news of her parents or their whereabouts. She and Mor didn't know if they were mugged, missing or dead. For the first time in her life, Ruhalya felt absolutely broken, depressed and angry. Angry at the guards for knowing little to nothing of the incident, angry at the man who asked him to deliver his package in Alishiani a day early and worst of all, she felt angry at her parents for just disappearing. She refused to eat for days and spent sleepless nights inside her locked room. But one night she aimlessly left her room and into her parent's study. Something in her snapped and she started trashing the room until she was all tired out. In the piles of paper she had thrown around she noticed a journal that was owned by Natshu. Reading it carefully, her vision slowly started to blur from the tears forming in her eyes as she read further into the pages. With one line, it hit her like a ton of bricks that her parents could be gone forever. And so she started crying, and cried for what felt like hours. It was there decided she'd move forward to make her own path and hopefully make her parents proud.

"I'll see this world for the three of us, okay?"

"You are our child and our treasure; we want you to be happy. You only have on life, so live it well."

--- Present day---

Ruhalya is conducting her own research and is currently living on her own in Ziskor, having decided to move out when she was 21. Mor is still alive and healthy and she often visits him (not that they live far apart anyway) The young deer byyst often travels outside of her tribe in the hopes to learn more about the world. She even met travelling companions as the years rolled by. To this day there is still no news about her parents where about so they were ruled out as dead.

Quote: "Is that thing poisonous?"

Misc:
- Ruhalya is a naturally good cook; the problem is the ingredients that she uses. So eating her cooking is all in the matter of luck, so pray the ingredients she used isn't anything weird like a stomach churning mushroom.
- Being half deer, her sense of smell is really good so she doesn't like any strong scents
- Hearing is also pretty good.
- She keeps a small dagger under her sash for collecting plant samples or self defense
- The one who taught her how to dance was Natshu
- Ruhalya is a lot like Ishka, the only difference is her mother was calmer
- She has some knowledge in making medicines because of Mor
- Has a scar across her tummy.
- The forest she was found in was near The Ruins
- Makes flower crowns (but sometimes ends up eating them)
- While she usually eats plants/ vegetation, Ruhalya doesn't mind eating meat....the exception being deer meet.
- Her collapsing because of fatigue or hunger is nothing new to her
- Can last without sleep for 10 days
- Never a morning ('wake up') person
- She sleep talks (and occasionally sleep walks)
- If she meets any rare species of people (eg: Merpeople) she will become super excited-- and maybe ask for a blood sample
- She doesn’t care much for ‘searching for her past’ or her real parents
- Prays to the Arnestokk weekly, it doesn't matter how immersed she is with her work, she will make time for just does weekly visits. What she prays about, no one knows.

Alliance: Neutral for now

Relationships:
Yoryyntel - Pan'Go by CeilingDino Yoryyntel - Artel by Dante-Aran Yoryyntel - Edah Grym'zhla by Ameritis (The Band of Misfits) Despite the name they coined themselves, these 4 friends are far from menacing- in fact they call themselves this because they are so different from one another, that it's a surprise they even got along and became travelling companions. Ruhalya loves these guys so much (since they tolerate her antics....well most of them time) *I'LL ADD MORE ON THEM INDIVIDUALLY LATER*
